Mitsubishi and Thai government announce joint study for fleet testing of electric vehicles(17/12/2010)
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and the government of Thailand have agreed to start joint study for fleet testing of electric vehicles (EV). MMC, through its local producer and distributor Mitsubishi Motors Thailand (MMTh), will begin initiatives for future market introduction of the i-MiEV new-generation EV. UK Government reveals the nine electric car models that will be eligible for eco-friendly grants(15/12/2010)
The UK Government has revealed the first set of vehicles eligible for the new ‘Plug-In Car Grant’. Transport Secretary Philip Hammond and Business Minister Mark Prisk announced the milestone which could make 2011 the year of the electric car for the UK - and revealed five more regions that will be installing local charging points having successfully bid for a share of a £20m fund.
