Michelin Active Wheel allows automakers to do away with traditional engines and gearboxes

The Will city car concept hatchback is the first car to feature Michelin's new Active Wheel, which integrates electric motor, brakes and suspension functions inside the wheel. WallysCar launches Jeep lookalike Izis

Long before it became part of Chrysler, the original Jeep was made by a company called Willys. At the Paris show, we saw the launch of a Jeep lookalike, made by WallysCar. It’s called the Izis, and it’s a plastic-panelled body-on-chassis off-roader, with a 75bhp Peugeot 1.4-litre TU3A petrol engine.
