Recent research conducted by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) claimed that van fleet offences in certain areas, are exceeding those of heavy goods vehicles with more than half of its 21,000 roadside checks carried out on vans last year uncovering mechanical defects. Consumers are not convinced by electric and hybrid cars

According to FindsYouCars's survey of the latest 1000 consumer car buying requests, currently less than 1% are opting for hybrid or electric models. With more than 41% of Brits’ requests, diesel still reigns as the most desired fuel option whilst 23% continue to specify petrol as their preference.
