New greener engines for the Citroën C5 range(10/11/2009)
Citroën has introduced two new greener power-plants in the C5 range. A number of other model range changes are also implemented with immediate effect. The key improvements are: * A new BMW co-developed 1.6i 16V THP 155hp petrol engine has replaced the out-going 2.0i 16V 143hp unit. This Euro V engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and is available in the VTR+ NAV Saloon. * A new 2.0HDi 16V 160hp diesel has replaced the 2.0HDi 16V 140hp and the 2.2HDi 16V 173hp engines. Citroën has introduced the brand new C5, which comes with a long list of features. These include a driver’s seat massager, lane departure warning system, acoustic laminated glass, self-levelling suspension, automatic electric parking brake and directional headlights, whilst every model in the range comes with at least seven airbags, ESP with traction control, automatic air-conditioning, speed limiter, cruise control, Adaptive Front-lighting System and Citroën’s unique fixed hub steering wheel. ...
