Suzuki GB's Alto took part in this year's Revolve Eco-Rally from Brighton to London and achieved spectacular results completing the 76 mile journey using less than six litres of fuel. The Eco-Rally, organised by Revolve and opened by TV Presenter Quentin Willson, started at Madeira Drive in Brighton at 10am. Suzuki celebrates Alto city car 30th birthday(17/04/2009)
The introduction of the new Alto city car this month marks 30 years since Suzuki Motor Corporation first launched the name in 1979. A car spearheaded by current Chairman and CEO Osamu Suzuki, the model was designed for the Kei Class in Japan to provide motorists with low cost and enjoyable motoring, an ethos which has remained a core feature of the car’s DNA over three decades.
