Vauxhall has made sizeable reductions in C02 and fuel consumption to key models in its Insignia range, meaning that customers now benefit from combined emissions as low as 129g/km.
While changes to the Insignia’s 2.0-litre Turbo engine have yielded a near-five per cent drop in emissions on the Sports Tourer, thanks to improvements made to the engine’s engine management system, each of the Insignia’s 2.0-litre diesel powerplants also become greener and less costly to run.

Mondial Assistance has been chosen by Mitsubishi Motors UK to support the launch of the i MiEV, its fully electric city car. The Peugeot i0n zero-emissions electric vehicle will be introduced at the end of 2010. The vehicle, developed in co-operation with the Mitsubishi Motor Corporation (MMC), will offer a zero-emission urban transport solution for private, fleet and local authority users.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) began delivery of its i-MiEV electric city car in Japan from July 2009, mainly to corporations and local authorities. Since then, MMC has already received orders for all 1,400 units to be distributed during the 2009 fiscal year.
