Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, and Sumitomo Corporation have announced joint plans to initiate a business venture to “Reuse, Resell, Refabricate and Recycle” lithium-ion batteries previously used in electric cars, giving them a “second-life” as energy-storage solutions in markets worldwide.
