102EX, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Experimental Electric which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this week, will be powered by a specially designed battery system – the largest ever for a passenger car – produced by Axeon. The Rolls-Royce is a one-off test-bed, designed to test owner attitudes to alternative power sources to its traditional V12 petrol engine.
