Adding electric vehicles to a fleet will enable much larger savings than petrol and diesel management policies alone could achieve

According to Petrol Retailers’ Association forecasts, unleaded petrol prices are predicted to reach 123p per litre by the end of 2010. The news will put fuel management back on the agenda for fleet managers under pressure to cut costs. Aixam Mega argues that adding electric vehicles into the fleet will enable much larger savings to be achieved than petrol and diesel management policies alone could hope to achieve. Savings on fuel are further boosted by reduced costs for vehicle servicing, insurance and Road Tax. Mondial Assistance chosen by Mitsubishi to support the launch of the i MiEV fully electric city car

Mondial Assistance has been chosen by Mitsubishi Motors UK to support the launch of the i MiEV, its fully electric city car. The cars hit the road in December last year and through this new agreement i MiEV owners will benefit from a national network of i MiEV trained technicians, provided by Mondial Assistance.
